Introduction
The CAAM – Stanley & Marvel Chong Scholarship, offered by the Chinese American Association of Minnesota (CAAM), provides merit and need-based funding for undergraduate college tuition to high school seniors of Chinese descent who are U.S. citizens or permanent US residents in Minnesota. Established through the generosity of lifelong entrepreneurs Stanley and Marvel Chong—third-generation Chinese Americans and early CAAM supporters—it aims to help recipients focus on their studies by reducing financial burdens, while encouraging community involvement through required volunteer commitments. Awards are announced annually, with recipients honored at a ceremony.

Three recommendation letters emailed to CAAM directly from school (at least two) or other sources are required to support your application for the scholarship (not acceptable if attached to this form or not written to CAAM specifically).
For financial need scholarship applicants, a copy of a filled FAFSA Form or the most recent 3-year federal income tax return forms are required.
