On November 23, 2025, the Chinese American Association of Minnesota (CAAM) continued its cherished 30+ year tradition by hosting a Pre-Thanksgiving Free Lunch for nearly 300 homeless individuals at Dorothy Day Place in St. Paul. Led by Chairman Ping Wang and a dedicated team of board members and volunteers, the group prepared and served a festive Chinese meal on-site—including sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice, lo mein, spring rolls, fresh salad, and desserts—with warmth and care. Guests expressed heartfelt gratitude for the delicious food and kindness, highlighting CAAM’s ongoing commitment to promoting Chinese culture while giving back to the local community.
